Allison Kirsch

Founder & Somatic Psychotherapist

Allison works with adults, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, chronic pain, sleep difficulties, misophonia, life transitions, and the challenges of feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves.

Her approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic, mindfulness-based, and experiential practices, recognizing that meaningful change often involves more than understanding what is happening intellectually. Allison helps clients explore the connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, physical sensations, and nervous system patterns—and develop practical ways to respond differently.

Therapy with Allison is collaborative, active, and tailored to each person. Depending on your needs and goals, sessions may draw from Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), CBT, CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), Pain Reprocessing Therapy, biofeedback, and experiential or nature-based approaches.

She especially enjoys working with people who are used to functioning well, taking care of others, or pushing through difficult experiences but are ready to move beyond simply managing symptoms. Her goal is to help clients build greater awareness, flexibility, resilience, and trust in themselves so they can feel more present and engaged in their lives.
